Wow this is a powerful image, especially with Whaling being so much in debate recently; add that to the decaying whaler's boat and ice disappearing... Where did you take this shot?
In Antarctica believe it or not. This was a first stop. Our ship pulled into the bay (named Whaler's Bay as it was a station for whalers) and we were confronted with the wreakage of these old processing facilities the whalers used to use before their operation was halted by volcanic activity.
As I said, it shows the importance of photography in recording our past, present to the future. Keep up the good work!
